Overview

ReqSignoff is built with your privacy as a first principle. We do not collect, store, or process any of your personal data or project data on our servers. Everything you create in ReqSignoff stays on your device.

Data Storage

All data you enter into ReqSignoff — including requirements documents, reviewer names, sign-off statuses, comments, and audit trails — is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. No data is ever transmitted to or stored on any server we operate.

This means your data is private by design. It never leaves your device. If you clear your browser storage or use a different browser or device, your data will not be available there — because it only exists locally.

No Server-Side Data Collection

We do not operate any databases that contain your content. We have no ability to access, read, or recover any data you have entered into the application. There are no user accounts, no authentication systems, and no cloud sync features.

Cookies

ReqSignoff does not use any first-party cookies. The only cookies that may be set are those used by Google Analytics (described below). We do not use cookies for session management, authentication, tracking preferences, or any other application purpose.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics. This helps us understand how the tool is being used so we can improve it. Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser to distinguish unique users and sessions.

The data collected by Google Analytics includes:

• Pages visited and time spent on pages
• Approximate geographic location (country/region level)
• Browser type and operating system
• Referring websites
• Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)

This data is anonymized and aggregated. We cannot identify individual users from this data. Google Analytics does not have access to any content you enter into ReqSignoff, as that data never leaves your browser.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Third-Party Services

Beyond Google Analytics, we do not integrate any third-party services that collect personal data. We do not use advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or any other data brokers.

Children's Privacy

ReqSignoff is a professional tool not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of ReqSignoff after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
